Collaging Self-Portraits in Psychotherapy Workshop

In this workshop, participants will learn about the personal benefits and clinical applications of using self-portrait collage techniques. The main focus will be on how the creation and reconstruction of personal self-portrait collages and narratives support self-reflection and growth.

The majority of the workshop will be experiential, and no previous art experience is necessary. Handouts and some collage materials will be provided.

Please bring your own scissors as these will not be supplied as well as collage images of your own that you like.

Jessica Lynch, MAAT, ATR, is a Los Angeles based art therapist & artist. She has clinical experience working with numerous populations and currently works with adults in a primary mental health treatment center, where she co-created the clinical art therapy program. She has also presented regionally and nationally on the application and benefits of art therapy and is the creator of The Dot Method, an art therapy intervention for anxiety reduction.

Refund policy: Full refund up to two weeks prior to event, after which a $25 processing fee will be charged.
